A collection of eight essays, the book examines the different aspects of the novel from a postmodern perspective. Engaging contemporary theorists鈥擲artre, Foucault, de Man, Benjamin, and Prince among others,鈥攖he essays encompass diverse areas: narratology, rhetoric, genre studies, existentialism, and postcolonialism.
