Anchorage, AK Available Year-Round (Fall, Spring & Summer Terms)
Alaska Wealth Advisors, proudly based in Anchorage, Alaska, is offering a Private Wealth Intern position for motivated students interested in financial planning and portfolio management. Our firm provides personalized financial services that empower clients to make informed, confident decisions about their financial futures. Intern responsibilities may include reception duties, applying technical skills and research to client deliverables, working with modeling spreadsheets and portfolio data, and learning industry tools such as MoneyGuide Pro, Orion, Salesforce, and Microsoft Suite. Interns may also assist with website updates and blog postings using WordPress. The internship is available each school semester (Fall, Spring, and Summer) with flexible start and end dates and a 29-hour flexible work week. 2. Assistant FOH Manager Intern The Bridge Co.
Anchorage, AK May 1 Sept 30, 2025 (Flexible Start)
The Bridge Co., a fine-dining catering company located in a historic 1920s railroad bridge over Ship Creek in Anchorage, Alaska, is seeking a motivated intern for the role of Assistant Front of House (FOH) Manager. Specializing in upscale private and corporate catering with a focus on Alaskan fare, The Bridge Co. offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in hospitality management and small business operations. The internship runs from May 1 (flexible start) to September 30 and requires a commitment through the end of the season to qualify for a potential End of Season Bonus. Interns will work 3040 hours per week , primarily in the evenings, with a flexible schedule to accommodate classes. Duties include overseeing event setup and breakdown, managing FOH staff during shifts, maintaining a bar bank, assisting with HR tasks like hiring and training, and working closely with the Managing Partner, Skye Nevada, on daily operations. This paid internship offers $2527/hour DOE, plus the potential for a bonus and future employment opportunities. The primary work location is 221 W. Ship Creek, Anchorage, AK 99501, with additional off-site catering venues. Certifications required for the role can be completed after hiring, with support from the company. CBPP Spotlight

Meet Ericka Brown, a dedicated military spouse and inspiring student in the College of Business and Public Policy. Ericka is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting, building on her previous achievements of earning an Occupational Endorsement Certificate (OEC) in Bookkeeping and an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Accounting.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Ericka works full time in the accounting field and serves as a part-time student assistant at 做厙弝けCBPP. She also balances a busy home life as a proud mom of two.
Ericka was recently honored as a recipient of the PCAOB Scholars Program for the 20242025 academic year, which awards a $15,000 scholarship to high-achieving accounting students. This prestigious recognition highlights her dedication, academic excellence, and passion for the field.
Balancing work, school, and family can be challenging, Ericka shares, but reaching each goal has made it all worthwhile!
Her determination, resilience, and commitment to her goals make her a shining example of the strength and drive within our student community here at CBPP.
