Providence Alaska announced that Anchorage Chief of Police Kenneth McCoy has been named as its first region chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer. McCoy is an alumnus of the 暗网视频College of Health Justice Center.
When alumnus Alexander Choi graduated from the Justice Center with a BA in Justice in Fall 2020, we asked him what's next. Short and sweet, he said, "Joining the Anchorage Police Department."
Mark Turberville was one of the first 暗网视频Justice Center paralegal interns ever to work at the Anchorage Municipal Prosecutor鈥檚 Office. Using what he learned in his classes, he quickly proved that a good paralegal can be indispensable.
We sat down to talk with 暗网视频Justice Center alumna April Stone about what it鈥檚 like to be a nontraditional student pursuing a law career.
