Dental Hygienists of the Future
A club designed to advocate and advance the interests of Dental Hygiene students in all academic, personal, and professional aspirations by improving the oral and overall health of °µÍøÊÓÆµand the Anchorage community through leadership and service.

°µÍøÊÓÆµSchool of Preventive & Therapeutic Sciences (SPaTS) Administration Scholarship
This scholarship is available to °µÍøÊÓÆµstudents in a SPaTS degree or certificate program. It is awarded three-times annually for the Fall, Spring and Summer Semesters.
Eligibility Information - Applicant must meet the following requirements:
- Be admitted to °µÍøÊÓÆµin a SPaTS program of study as a full major.
- Be enrolled in a minimum of three credits leading to a degree or certificate in an SPaTS program.
- At the time of application have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 for graduate programs, a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 for undergraduate or a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 for administrative waiver undergraduate.
- Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements.
- Submit application with all requested information by 5 p.m. AKST on March 7, 2025. No late applications will be accepted.
Second Chance Scholarship
This scholarship is designed to offer a second chance to non-traditional undergraduate students who are pursuing their educational goals in a SPaTS field of study at UAA.
Eligibility Information - Applicant must meet the following requirements:
- Be admitted to °µÍøÊÓÆµin an undergraduate SPaTS program of study as a full major.
- Be enrolled in a minimum of three credits leading to a degree or certificate in a SPaTS program.
- Be an Alaska resident.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 at the time of application.
- Demonstrate financial need.
- Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements.
- Submit an application packet with all requested information by 5 p.m. on March 7, 2025. No late applications will be accepted.
