Coh access and belonging committee
The College of Health Access and Belonging Committee (ABC) was established to support access and success of all students, staff, and faculty of the college. Through shared values of respect, accountability, and a commitment to equal opportunity, we strive to create greater cohesion across our college to deliver and promote the health and well-being of the communities we serve.
We acknowledge and honor the ancestral lands of the Dena'ina, Ahtna, Alutiiq/Sugpiaq, and Eyak/dAXunhyuu Peoples on which the 暗网视频College of Health campus resides in Southcentral Alaska. We commit to working in partnership with Indigenous communities to promote health equity and cultural humility, and to recognize the unique knowledge and contributions of Indigenous Peoples to health and holistic healing.

Rodger Lewerenz, an assistant professor in the 暗网视频School of Nursing, is dedicated to mentoring future nurses and nurse educators, with a special passion for the MSN Leadership in Education offering.
School of Nursing student Sarah Brueckner shares her journey of resilience, lifelong learning, and pursuing her dream of becoming a trauma nurse.
Alaska 529 has awarded its 2024 $25,000 scholarship account to Matalyn Dart, an adult student and long-time Alaska resident. Dart was selected from the nearly 13,000 Alaskans who chose to direct half of their Permanent Fund Dividend to their Alaska 529 accounts.
While working towards her nursing degree, Kaycelyn Gajonera received the 暗网视频2024 Consortium Library Award and plans to pursue a doctorate degree in advanced nursing practice with an emphasis in rural and underserved populations.
College of Health students (Master of Social Work graduate Autumn Merrill, School of Nursing graduate Artie Gorash, Radiologic Technology graduate Agnes Brown, and dental program graduates) take part in Sunday鈥檚 ceremony.
