US°µÍøÊÓÆµStudent Government provides opportunities to develop leadership and advocacy skills while representing student interests and needs. US°µÍøÊÓÆµmembers make a difference on campus by giving input on policies, procedures, and programs. US°µÍøÊÓÆµhelps coordinate several campus activities to build a broader sense of community and belonging at the university. Members serve on boards, committees, and special task groups that help make policy decisions and recommendations which affect students, faculty, and administration.
Become involved with Student Government and increase personal growth, learn how to work together in teams, gain problem solving skills, and practice citizenship through community engagement and advocacy.
Election or Petition
Students interested in holding positions in US°µÍøÊÓÆµmay run for election. Elections are held each year in the spring semester. See US°µÍøÊÓÆµElections to learn more.
To petition onto the US°µÍøÊÓÆµAssembly for a delegate, senator, Green Fee Board, Concert Board, or Media Board seat, complete the and the membership eligibility form.
